Barbering Program / Barber-Hybrid Program
Welcome to the world of barbering! This 1,250-hour course will teach you the fundamentals of being a barber, including extensive skills training, theory and business skills, entrepreneurship, etiquette and more! By the completion you will not only be prepared for the state licensing exam, but for a successful career after graduation.
Located in the heart of West Chester, Pennsylvania, students receive in-depth instruction in both a classroom setting and our fully functional student barber shop. Champions School of Barbering offers a wide range of services to real clients, and throughout every service, instructors are present to offer support, encouragement, and/or further instruction. All work is performed under direct supervision of licensed instructors.
The barbering program emphasizes live demonstration and hands-on learning. In addition, this course includes lessons focused on life skills, entrepreneurship, money management, professionalism, and more!
Barber Crossover Program
This program is specifically designed for licensed cosmetologists. This 695-hour course teaches a wide array of barber techniques and theory and will prepare you for the state licensing exam in less than a year!
This program includes both advanced barber theory and practical application. Students receive extensive instruction about shaving and various other uses of the straight razor, haircutting, state barber laws, rules, and regulations and more. This program also utilizes the Champions School of Barbering student barber shop, where students perform a wide range of services on real clients. Throughout every service, instructors are present to offer support, encouragement, and/or further instruction. All work is performed under direct supervision of licensed instructors.

Barber Instructor Program
Ready to take the next step in your career as a barber? This 1,250-hour program transforms licensed barbers into barber instructors, capable of teaching advanced skillsets and theory. Instruction includes hands-on learning with live demonstrations and real classroom instruction.
The barber Instructor program trains barbers to become instructors in a professional environment. Throughout this course, students learn educational instruction, effective classroom management, basic and advanced teaching methods, and much more.
In addition to interactive theory, hands-on practice is emphasized with live demonstrations and enrichment activities to give students extensive experience as instructors.
